[00:08.92]The metal is white and about one meter long. [00:13.80]It is being sent to Australia for testing. [00:17.72]The Australian agency supervising the search for the plane [00:22.00]will examine the metal to determine where it came from. [00:27.36]An American beachcomber found the piece of metal [00:31.32]and brought it to authorities in Mozambique. [00:35.00]The piece of metal, or debris, [00:37.68]may be from an airplane part called a horizontal stabilizer. [00:44.24]It is printed with the words "no step" [00:47.40]and has a code on it that makes experts think it is from a Boeing 777. [00:54.68]That is the same kind of plane that disappeared in 2014 [00:59.36]with 239 people on board. [01:02.88]Computer models predicted that debris could wash-up in Mozambique. [01:08.48]If the metal turns out to be from Flight 370, [01:12.84]it will be the second confirmed piece of debris from the plane. [01:18.08]A piece of the wing, called a flaperon, [01:21.68]was found on a French island in the Indian Ocean last summer. [01:26.60]The man who found the debris is from the state of Washington. [01:31.32]He travels around looking for pieces of the plane. [01:35.32]He said he traveled to a number of countries [01:38.40]looking for parts of Flight 370. [01:43.12]The transport minister in Malaysia [01:45.48]did not want to get too excited about the discovery. [01:50.28]He asked people to wait for more information. [01:55.80]He says there will be a search [01:58.24]if the piece of metal turns out to be from the Malaysian plane. [02:04.20]On March 8, the Malaysian authorities will release more information [02:09.04]about the new debris and the search. [02:12.20]March 8 is the two-year anniversary of the plane's disappearance. [02:17.60]The plane was going to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur [02:21.64]before it went off course over the Indian Ocean.
