[00:05.20]is in a hospital in Houston, Texas.
[00:09.20]He is sick with sepsis, an infection of the blood.
[00:15.24]A spokesman said Bush was admitted for medical treatment Sunday,
[00:20.36]the morning after the funeral of his wife, Barbara.
[00:25.12]On Monday, spokesman Jim McGrath wrote on Twitte
[00:30.04]r that the 93-year-old former president
[00:33.00]is "responding to treatments and appears to be recovering."
[00:38.76]Barbara Bush was buried on Saturday.
[00:43.00]Mrs. Bush was 92 years old.
[00:46.88]She and her husband had been married 73 years
[00:51.76]— the longest presidential marriage in U.S. history.
[00:56.76]Three other former presidents and their wives joined George H.W. Bush at the funeral.
[01:05.32]The three are their son, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
