[00:00.00]The United States Supreme Court decided Thursday 
[00:04.82]to uphold President Obama's healthcare law, the Affordable Care Act.
[00:11.03]After the ruling was announced, President Obama tweeted: 
[00:15.51]"Today's decision is a victory for every hardworking American. 
[00:20.52]Access to quality, affordable health care is a right, not a privilege."
[00:27.26]House Speaker John Boehner expressed displeasure with the ruling. 
[00:32.41]"Obamacare is fundamentally broken, increasing health care costs 
[00:38.62]for millions of Americans," he said.
[00:41.31]Islamic State fighters launched two major attacks in northern Syria on Thursday.
[00:48.68]The attacks followed Islamic State group losses in northern Syria 
[00:54.23]against Kurdish forces in recent weeks.
[00:57.35]A Syrian Kurdish politician told VOA 
[01:02.15]that Islamic State fighters carried out several suicide attacks in and around Kobani, 
[01:09.83]killing 23 civilians in one of them. 
[01:12.94]He said IS militants were also killed in the attack.
[01:17.76]Kurdish fighters, backed by U.S.-led airstrikes, 
[01:22.06]took control of Kobani in January after months of battles with Islamic State.

[01:33.18]that a Pakistani intelligence agent took part in an attack on the Afghan parliament.
[01:39.99]The attack Monday involved at least seven Taliban gunmen armed with explosives.

[01:49.09]A Pakistani foreign ministry official said his country is committed to good relations with Afghanistan.
