[by:www.21voa.com] [00:00.00]¸ü¶àÌýÁ¦Çë·ÃÎÊ21VOA.COM [00:00.20]Vicente Fox was the president of Mexico [00:04.88]for six years, starting in 2000. [00:09.68]He says Donald Trump should not insult Mexicans [00:14.36]during his campaign for the Republican Party's presidential nomination. [00:21.24]Trump says he will build a wall between the United States and Mexico. [00:28.16]And he says he will get Mexico to pay for it if he becomes president. [00:35.08]People think the cost of the wall could be greater than $1 billion. [00:41.60]Trump also says he plans to deport Mexicans [00:46.16]who are not in the U.S. legally. [00:49.96]He also wants to deport children [00:52.68]born to undocumented immigrants in the U.S. [00:56.64]In response to Trump's claims, [01:00.04]Fox recently told Fusion TV: [01:03.84]"I'm not going to pay for that [expletive] wall." [01:08.28]An expletive is a curse or swear word. [01:13.00]Fox says he is surprised Trump won the votes [01:17.12]of 46 percent of the Hispanics [01:20.36]who voted in the recent Nevada caucus. [01:24.08]Felipe Calderon followed Fox as Mexico's president. [01:29.60]They both say they are concerned about the anti-Mexican sentiment [01:34.52]Trump is stirring up. [01:36.48]Calderon told The Washington Post [01:40.00]the wall would be "useless" [01:42.88]and said "we won't pay a cent for that stupid wall." [01:48.44]Calderon also noted that Trump is ignoring recent statistics [01:54.60]from the Pew Research Center [01:57.76]that show more Mexicans are returning home [02:01.80]than entering the United States [02:04.64]in the five years ending in 2014. [02:08.48]Calderon says the fact that Trump is ignoring those statistics [02:13.72]shows that he is "an ignorant man." [02:17.52]Trump responded to Fox's comments, [02:21.00]using Twitter to say that the former president [02:24.64]should apologize for using bad language. [02:28.96]Fox says he will not apologize. [02:33.40]"He's the one who should apologize," Fox says. [02:37.40]I'm Dan Friedell.
